Center Hinge
Can I attach a swinging screen door to a patio door?
I have a patio door that is center hinged. I’d like to be able to put a nice screen door on it. I’d prefer a swinging screen door rather than a sliding door. Is it possible to do this?

We had a similar situation and found that we did not have a deep enough frame on the outside of our patio door to attach a screen door that swings out. Check the depth necessary to install it and see if your door had that depth. Also, check the reviews on the screen door, lots of people don’t like it.
