Davidson Licensed

Harley Davidson – Licenses? Insurance? Age to ride? ..etc?
I am 20 years old and turn 21 in July 2010. I have no driving licence or any other vehicle licenses of any kind – No experience riding any vehicle at all. I know that you need to be 21 to ride a bike over 125cc (something like that) – I plan to buy a Harley Davidson.. So I would like to know what licenses + whatever else I need in order to be riding a Harley Davidson when i’m 21.
Any extra information information like age to ride, insurance etc would be a big help! Please help, thanks.
Ps: I’m from North West England.
Hello
If you wait until 21 you can do a Direct Access Course
Before then you will need to
First get your provisional Group A licence Minimum Age 17
Any cc restricted to 33 BHP
You need the licence number to book your Motor bike based theory test
Pass your Motor bike theory test. Covers you for A, A1 and P
You may need to do that before you start the Direct Entry Course but easier if you do
Normal option Minimum Age 17, Is as above for Licence and Theory test, Theory test Pass Certificate number required to book your Compulsory Basic Training course. If you go for the A1 and Pass you will always be restricted to Max 125cc And 14.6 BHP.
You could go for Group A Any cc Restricted to 33 BHP
If you go for A1 you will automatically get Group A Unrestricted, 2 years after you Pass the Group A1 driving test
If you go for Group A The 33 BHP will stay in place for 2 years after you Pass the driving test then be removed or until you reach 21.
