Flannel Towel
how can i wash my 3 yr olds hair without him freaking out?
my son has never liked his hair being washed. any water goes on his face he screams blue murder. i’ve tried getting him to lay in the bath, stand over the bath with his head over it. flannel/towel over his face. i even got a cap that goes on the head so the water doesn’t go on his face, but when he realised what it was for he went crazy. i don’t want to keep making him upset ever time i wash his hair.
I just use a plastic jug and I put stickers on the ceiling. I asked my kids to point out certain stickers this makes them look up and tip their heads back so you can pour water on their hair and turns it into a game. I would just do the back for a few times until he gets used to it and then slowly work further forward.
