Experience crocheters: can you explain how to crochet a cupcake coaster?
Can a crocheter please explain to me how do you crochet a cupcake coaster like this one:

I know you start in the centre as a circle but then what?
This looks like its done in two parts, from what I can discern from the picture you would do the pink first, the center, than somehow, probably through a triple crochet or something turn and go back over the top of the circle you had started. than crocheting in the double crochet you did at the end of the circle until you are turned around again and go all the way back, doing the same so that you have a “circle” on both ends of the cupcake. Than do the brown below, attaching it to the pink. It’s so much easier to show than to type it trying to visualize it at work haha.
